News from Liberia!

Dear Friends,

We hope you all had a great Father’s Day celebration with your families!

We have recently hired a new employee!  Our friend, Arrington, has been hired to join our team as an accountant, and will work part time for eight hours a week.  He has great

computer skills and will help all of us in our office to increase our skills, too.  His responsibility will include all accounting, preparing our monthly report, and handling payroll.

Arrington works full time with Trust Saving Credit Union as Deputy Manager for operations and administration.

Please, everyone, join us to welcome our dear friend Arrington.

We are asking all of your to pray for these four significant things on our list:

  1. Please pray for Louise, one of our team members.   Louise, our editor and web manager, will be taking a short leave from her duties until the 4thof July. Please pray for an uncomplicated recovery from knee surgery, scheduled for June 25.
  2. Pray that the county’s Yellow Machines to be released soon for our use on the property of the new college preparatory high school.  We have sent a formal request to the county for its use, and need the machines to clear and prepare the site before the foundation digging and subsequent construction can commence.
  3. Next, please pray for the completion of the final foundation plan being designed by our EMI friends in Colorado Springs.  We cannot begin without the foundation plan.
  4. Finally, please pray for significant generous gifts to complete the brick molding and to commence the construction of the phase one of the project.  We need 250 bags of cement to reach our goal of 15,000 bricks.

Would you consider making a contribution of $10.00 or more for the purchase of bags of cement?  Your $10.00 will purchase one bag of cement and give us 20 pieces of 8-inch bricks.

You can donate by clicking on the “Donate” tab above, or by sending your check to
